Longline slit blazer, necklace & metallic sliders - Forever 21//

A trend that never gets old to be flaunted during the hot spring and summer days are the pretty pastels. This spring season we saw smooth, happy shades of baby pinks, butter yellows and mints subtly turning into bolder and louder variations of themselves. Last summer season's favourite neons are getting diluted and turning into brighter pastels. So the end result kind turns up to be like the ones you can see in this post -shiny mints, cooler lilacs.
If you could fit everything you love, together in one big, fat suitcase even if it meant you had to sit on the suitcase to shut it. Well, that is what I kinda did with this post. All my summer favourites, here in one post. Oh the yummy florals, how I've missed you throughout my gloomy, cold days. Floral printed dresses in pastels teamed up with those shiny pretty little things (trying to insert a lovestruck emo).
Metallics are going to be huge this season. Solid, reflective surfaces in gold and silver, if you spot one, grab it. I love these silver sliders from Forever 21 and to be honest for 1600 INR ($25 approx) they are quite stellar. Bought them from the Select City mall outlet about 2 weeks ago, so should be still available.
I mostly team up prints with solid colours. Kept it simple with a longline blazer which has thigh high slits, the reason I bought it in the first place, also because it's long enough to fall perfectly and cover the length of the dresses. Teamed it up with mint reflectors and a printed clutch. This is the maximum I've gone with print on print I guess.
Silver and oxidised jewellery is super hot right now. I love how it can make simple outfits look so chic. Boho statement necklaces are available everywhere. Pick up a chunky necklace, team it up with a white shirt and blue jeans and you are all set.
